Diameter and height ratio

When designing a tank, great importance is given to the ratio of the diameter of the CCT to the height of the wort column. In existing installations this ratio ranges from 1: 1.5 to 1: 5. Most breweries, including European ones, operate high CCT, with the ratio of the height of the wort column to the diameter from 1: 2.5 to 1: 5, in this case, natural convective movements of the product may be absent and a blowing of carbon dioxide into the container is required.
