Prospects for the development of JSC "Zavkom" were discussed during a working meeting, which was held by the acting deputy head of the administration of the Tambov region Natalia Makarevich. She visited the production site and highly appreciated the activities of the enterprise.

Zavkom is a modern diversified enterprise with powerful production, technical and intellectual potential. It produces sophisticated apparatus, capacitive, heat exchange and column equipment for oil and gas, chemical, food, nuclear and other industries. The enterprise carries out unique orders for both Russian and foreign companies. One of them was an order for the Arctic LNG 2 project, which is of strategic importance for our country. The company has already shipped the first batch of equipment.

In 2020, Zavkom JSC entered the list of strategic enterprises in Russia. Being a dynamically developing enterprise, the largest taxpayer in the Tambov region, Zavkom is also successfully engaged in scientific and technical developments, acting as a platform for the implementation of joint projects within the framework of cooperation between education, science and production.

The meeting participants discussed the issues of attracting funds from support institutions for the development of an enterprise, training highly qualified personnel. Plans for 2021 to increase industrial production by 60 percent. Natalia Makarevich noted that the regional authorities will provide the necessary support to the enterprise, for which they plan to develop and send appropriate proposals to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
